Enjoy your visit to the trails at Waxahachie Creek Park. The trails are suitable for hiking, bicycles and horseback riding!!!! This project is sponsored by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Texas Equestrian Trail Riders Association.

This is a Corps of Engineers facility. The charge to ride the trails is $3 per trailer. Take advantage of this great opportunity for an inexpensive day's fun!

There are 4 overnight hookups for horse trailer camping. Each overnight space has use of two 10 x 10 horse stalls. Two of the sites are reservable. There is a minimal fee for overnight hookups. Primitive camping is no longer allowed.

Click now to reserve your space!

Please clean up after yourself and your animals. This facility is maintained by volunteers who also have full time jobs to support their horse habits!!

Several people have decided since the pens might not be clean when they arrive at their campsite that they are not going to clean up after their horses when they leave. Please keep in mind if we all do not pitch in and keep the facility nice... WE WILL LOOSE THE PRIVILEDGE of using the facilities. This is all maintained by volunteers.

Check out the trail descriptions on the description page!
